Jury Duty Company Retreat: Everything You Need to Know About Prime Video's Wildest Season Yet

  • Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat launched on March 20, 2026 on Prime Video, following an unwitting real person named Anthony who has no idea that the entire company he is working for is completely fake and staged
  • Anthony is a genuine temp worker who believes he has been hired to assist at a corporate retreat for a small condiment business called Rockin’ Grandma’s Hot Sauce, completely unaware that every single colleague surrounding him is a professional actor
  • The ensemble cast includes 14 comedic actors, with two more episodes dropping on March 27 and a three-episode finale arriving on April 3

They said it couldn’t be done. After the original Jury Duty became one of the most talked-about shows of 2023, pulling off the same elaborate prank twice felt like an impossible ask. One real person. Fourteen professional actors. A completely fabricated company. Cameras rolling the entire time. And absolutely nobody breaks.

Prime Video’s breakout reality hoax sitcom is back with an even more hilarious concept and a thoroughly endearing straight man. Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat follows a fictional family-owned hot sauce brand called Rockin’ Grandma’s and its temporary assistant Anthony Norman, who is brought in to help with the annual company retreat. Here’s where things get spicy: Anthony has agreed to be part of a documentary about Rockin’ Grandma’s, but he has absolutely no idea that everything about his experience is staged.

If you have not started watching yet, clear your weekend. Here is everything you need to know.

The Setup Is Even More Devious This Time

Anthony finds himself caught in the middle of a corporate takeover while on the retreat, as a private equity company threatens to completely overhaul the beloved hot sauce brand. The founder and CEO Doug is retiring, and his son Dougie is set to take over the role. When Anthony is introduced to the young successor, it is immediately clear that Dougie does not have the chops to lead himself, let alone an entire business.

And Anthony, bless him, takes it all completely seriously. He finds himself advocating for small businesses, urging the CEO to keep the best interests of his new colleagues in mind, completely unaware that those colleagues are some of the best comedic improvisers working in television today.

From the case of the stolen Doritos to the revelation of a secret romantic relationship, as well as countless nonsensical seminars, the Dougathalon, and some chaotic dinner theater, Company Retreat is absolutely hysterical. It is the kind of show where you will stop the episode just to collect yourself before pressing play again.

How Does Anthony Compare to Ronald?

This is the question everyone is asking, and it is a fair one. Jury Duty was elevated in part by the presence of James Marsden on the cast, operating at his silliest and toying with the original subject Ronald’s understanding of celebrity, something that would be difficult to pull off a second time.

But Anthony more than holds his own. Though Anthony is completely oblivious that this is all a farce, he is never the butt of the joke. Instead, he goes out of his way to ensure that each person he encounters feels welcome and seen. His intelligence, care and curiosity are something rarely seen on unscripted television.

If Company Retreat falls a little short compared to Season 1, that is not necessarily anyone’s fault as much as it is the nature of the concept itself. Pulling off such a detailed and triumphant prank has its limits when it comes to replicability. But here is the thing. Less funny by Jury Duty standards is still funnier than most other comedies out there.

When Do the Rest of the Episodes Drop?

The second season launched on March 20, 2026 exclusively on Prime Video, with the first three episodes released on premiere day. Two more episodes will drop on March 27, followed by a three-episode finale on April 3. So if you have been waiting to binge the whole thing in one sitting, you have got a few more weeks to hold on. The good news is that early reactions suggest the wait for that finale will be very much worth it.

The team behind Company Retreat took serious pains to not spoil the bit for Anthony, keeping the entire production a secret from its own protagonist right up until filming wrapped. It is the kind of logistical magic trick that deserves its own documentary, which is funny, given that that is exactly what Anthony thinks he is already in.
